Criminal Defence Solicitor

Salary: Up to £50,000 PA, dependent on experience. Overtime payment for out of hours work.

Other benefits include Life insurance, Critical illness insurance and bonus scheme

Holidays: 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.

Location: Leicester/Loughborough (we have a flexible working policy in place)
Contract: Full time/ Permanent. Would consider part time.

The Role

A Criminal defence solicitor is required to join our existing and well established team dealing with both legal aid and privately funded work.

The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified duty solicitor with at least 3 years PQE gained at an established criminal law department with a good grounding in all areas of criminal law. Prior experience of managing own case load, police station attendances and Magistrates Court advocacy is essential.
